Image removal

The two tools that remove images at scale

Both work the same way. The image is fingerprinted on your own device and never uploaded. Participating platforms then find and remove anything that matches the fingerprint, automatically, everywhere they operate.

Under 18, AI-generated included

Take It Down · NCMEC

takeitdown.ncmec.org. For nude, partially nude, or sexually explicit images of anyone under 18, or taken when they were under 18. Real or AI-generated. Free, anonymous, run by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. If the image is on a platform, this is the strongest removal tool that exists.

18 and over

StopNCII

StopNCII.org. The adult equivalent, operated by the Revenge Porn Helpline with the major platforms participating: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and others. Same system. Fingerprint locally, platforms match and remove.

Your rights under federal law. The TAKE IT DOWN Act makes knowingly publishing non-consensual intimate images a federal crime, and it names AI-generated "digital forgeries" explicitly. Covered platforms must remove reported imagery within 48 hours of a valid request. When you file a report, write down the date and time. The clock is real and it favors you.
Platform reporting

Where the report button actually is

Screenshot first, URL bar visible. Then report. Your Evidence Kit generates ready-to-paste report text for each platform.

PlatformPathWorth knowing
InstagramPost > menu > Report > "Bullying or harassment" or "Nudity or sexual activity"Meta participates in Take It Down and StopNCII. File the fingerprint report too.
TikTokVideo > Share > Report > "Harassment and bullying" or "AI-generated content"TikTok requires realistic AI content to be labeled. Unlabeled synthetic media of a private person violates policy on its own.
SnapchatPress and hold the Snap or Story > ReportScreenshot first. Content disappears. For urgent cases use the Safety Center's "Report a safety concern."
DiscordRight-click the message > Report, or dis.gd/reportYou can report an entire server, not just one message.
WhatsAppChat > contact name > ReportDo not delete the chat. Reporting forwards recent messages to WhatsApp as evidence.
Google SearchGoogle's removal request toolGoogle removes non-consensual explicit imagery from search results, AI included. The source page survives, but nobody finds it.
Verify and trace

Checking and tracking an image

ToolWhat it does
Bully.org image checkOur free checker. Provenance, metadata, and AI marker signals, plus the Evidence Kit generator. Runs entirely on your device.
Content Credentials VerifyReads an image's C2PA provenance trail. Some AI tools, including Adobe, OpenAI, and Google, cryptographically label their output. If credentials exist, this shows them.
Google Lens · TinEyeReverse image search. Find where else the image is posted. Run weekly during a re-upload watch and log every hit in your evidence inventory.
Google AlertsFree monitoring. Set an alert for your child's name and catch new mentions without doomscrolling for them.
